Can this model be mounted above a fireplace? null

Hello, A TV can be placed safely 12 inches above a fireplace unit with a passive heat system. This type of heat management system is very popular with linear style fireplaces.It is generally not safe to mount a TV over a wood-burning fireplace. That's due to both the high heat and smoke that wood fires create. Any heat and smoke not vented up the chimney will cascade over the front of the mantel and around your TV, damaging the electronics.^Vanessa
