    • Answer That will depend on what you watch on the LG SIGNATURE Z9 88 inch Class 8K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (87.6'' Diag), Model # OLED88Z9PUA. The Guidelines from the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers recommends sitting at a distance where the screen fills up about 30° of your field of vision as a minimum for a good experience. This generally provides good guidance, but users that use their TVs mostly for watching movies might benefit from sitting a bit closer to get a more theater-like. The SMPTE "reference" position for movie theaters and the THX recommendation is about 40°. The minimum angle of vision works well for most usages though and sitting at a distance where the screen fills 30° of your horizontal field of view should be comfortable for most people. The Recommended Mixed Usage Distance (30°) is 11.6' and the Recommended Cinema Distance (40°) is 8.5'...^IFV

  • QuestionWhat is the refresh rate on this tv?

    • Answer Refresh rate is an LED/LCD specification. OLED's have a native 120 Hertz panel and have a refresh rate of as low as 0.001 ms which for reference is around 1,000 times faster than a standard LED/LCD panel. ^CP

  • QuestionThere is a 2019 model and a 2020 model. I saw the 2019 model with similiar specs online selling for 15k which is half price . When is the 2020 model due to be replaced ? Anxiously awaiting the upcoming 2021 model so the 2020's will be discounted. Thanks!

    • Answer CES is held in the first two weeks of January every year in Las Vegas. CES2021 will run from Jan, 6 - Jan 9 (Wednesday-Saturday) and LG will showcase and unveil models that will be released in 2021 and make announcements about tentative TV release dates at CES2021. Most new models for each respective year do not hit stores until mid to late March in most cases but those dates are always subject to change..     • Answer The SOLE reason why I haven't invest on a new tv since 2016 - 75" LG 8500. My 3D library means a lot to me. I will jump on ANY large screen tv with 3D capabilities regardless of price.
