Go to lg and download software that conoingsides with the operating systems on you pc but if your runing window 7 or better its should be plug and play. If your having trouble with drivers go to wendows update. Or you could plug it in and run device manger and search for new hardware and when it finds it more then likely the operating system will have the drivers to run it.

The LG AP70NS50 is an external DVD writer that can be easily installed on your HP ENVY x360 Laptop. Here's how to do it: 1. Connect the DVD Writer: Plug the DVD writer into a USB port on your laptop using the provided USB cable. 2. Power Up the DVD Writer: Make sure the DVD writer has enough power by connecting it to an additional power source, using either the included power cable or a separate power adapter if necessary. 3. Open the DVD Writer Tray: Press the manual open button located on the bottom of the drive to open the disc tray. 4. Insert the Installation Disc (if applicable): If the DVD writer came with an installation disc, insert it into the open tray. 5. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Your computer should recognize the new hardware and guide you through the installation process. If not, check File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) to see if the drive is listed. 6. Install Required Drivers: If the necessary drivers are not automatically installed, go to the LG website, download the specific drivers for the AP70NS50, and install them.
