I just purchased this projector and it is great. At first I couldnt figure out the miracast, but I read that Android and iPhone stopped supporting that function. The way around this is to just hook a cheap chromecast up to the projector. Just get the cheapest chromecast because this projector is only HD -- it does not support 4k. In addition to chromecast, you could easily hook any other HDMI source up like a Roku stick, gaming system, or laptop. I believe the new roku sticks have screen mirroring, so that may be a good compromise as well. The projector does have a USB port that will act as a power supply to your roku stick/chromecast.

The Screen Share function in the projector can be used to mirror or cast from other devices that support Miracast. Both the projector and the devices that you are mirroring or casting from must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network...^IFV
