There is no way. I would not buy another LG refrigerator.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Obviously this question is old, but to others, please see the other's comment about flipping the top control panel upside down and finding the blue disc that is mounted on the computer board. There is a little notch where you can put a flathead screwdriver underneath and pop it off without damaging the panel. The disc is the alarm speaker. Problem solved. My LG fridge is Model LMSW27... something something without any control panel on the face of the fridge. It is at the top after opening the doors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Remove the 5 screws. Flip the panel upside down. Find the blue alarm. Should be beeping by this time. Work a screw driver (I used a small wood chisel) at the base of the alarm and pop it off. You can bend two prongs down and try to remount it. Or throw it away as I did. Problem solved. No alarm, no going crazy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found lots of people frustrated like I am that I couldn't turn off the beeping on my LG fridge when the door is left open for even a few seconds. And the suggestions that are on the web require features that are no longer available. I found a solution! Enable the Sabbath mode and it disables the beeping. Unfortunate side effect: it also disables the light, but frankly it's worth it. Sabbath mode is canceled in 96 hours, but you can just reset it.

French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water, Model # LFXS29766S is designed to prevent refrigerator malfunctioning that could occur if a refrigerator door or freezer drawer remains open and will sound if a refrigerator door or freezer drawer is left open for more than 60 seconds, at 30 second intervals. Your Control Panel has a Door Alarm button on it that you can use to deactivate the door alarm. Regrettably, there is no way of deactivating the beeping for when dispensing ice or water...^IFV
