The receptor that you are referring to is what is known as the Composite video and Audio port (aka RCA ports or AV ports) and should be color coded as Red/White/Yellow with the Red/White barrel ports being the RCA Analog Stereo Audio ports and the Yellow is the Composite video port. The LG DVD Player with USB Direct Recording features a Composite Video Out (i.e. the Yellow RCA barrel port) and an Analog Audio 2 ch Output (i.e the Red/White RCA Audio ports) so you can connect those to the appropriate ports on your 'Smart TV' by color matching the ports. The USB port on the DVD player is an input just as the USB port on your TV is and you cannot connect an input to another input...^IFV
