- Answer You can go into the settings menu on the LG - G7 fit™ with 32GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) - New Aurora Black and select System > System Update, then check for updates. If the over-the-air update is available for the phone, it should automatically download. You will then need to reboot the phone after the update has been installed. Android updates are made available through your carrier. As an unlocked phone, this phone is not assigned to any carrier so once you sign up with a carrier, you can check to see if they are pushing out the update. You generally can't get these updates from the manufacturer directly — only from the carrier. When a new version of Android is released, the device manufacturer has to take it and adapt their existing customizations to it. They also have to make it work on all their phones, including the carrier-specific variants...^IFV

QuestionDo we have to pick a carrier that Best Buy offers or can we activate it with a separate carrier? For instance I have Metro PCS.

- Answer As long as that carrier uses GSM this phone *should* work with them. I didn't set it up with best buy when I bought it. all I did was switch the sim card and it worked (I use t-mobile)

- Answer it was advertised as new. it looks new. LG did have it on its American site as avaiable. one of the options was to purchase it from best buy

- Answer the LG G7 FIT phone says it is compatible with, all major U.S. carriers, including: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. Also compatible with prepaid carriers including: Cricket Wireless, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Simple Mobile, Total Wireless, Tracfone, Net10, Mint, and H2O. so yes i would think so.

- Answer i downloaded the manual for the lg g7 fit 32 GB unlocked and it says can take up to a 2 TB card, even though i don't believe they are on the market yet. largest cards i have found are the 512 GB cards. My advice is if you see a 2 TB card on ebay or Amazon stay away from it they are fakes. this is as of may 10th 2020. hope this helps.

QuestionJust received my LG G7 today. Was it supposed to come with a Nano SIM card? I did not see one in the package and the quick start guide says always use a Nano SIM card supplied by your service provider.

- Answer The SIM card doesn't come in the package. I did curbside pickup and the store had attached one for my Verizon phone on top of the box. It looked like a business card, you have to punch out the SIM card. If I remember correctly, I had to tell them the carrier I was using as part of the purchase process, even though it was an unlocked phone, I guess so they would get me the correct SIM card. And the numbers your carrier will need when you activate the phone are printed on that card, so keep it handy.
