I haven't taken the week old 17Z90N I just got, apart to see what hinges are in it, But the one I bought in Fall of 2020 has had no quality issues and is still working great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have experienced the same quality issue. LG refused to honor a warranty in that case. I told them (and send them photos) that there is no sign of physical damage such as scratches, dent, etc. So, it must be some manufacturing defect. They ignored that info. Looks like LG doesn’t care to provide decent customer support.
