Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm pleased to report that I took my LG K8 2018 smartphone to my local T-Mobile store last week and got it activated and have been using it since that time. I'm still learning all of the features on the phone but so far call quality has been very good; speaker volume has also been very good and I'm really enjoying texting on this phone which is a huge upgrade from texting on my 10 year old flip phone; my Samsung T-139. The only down side of having this model LG K8 2018 smartphone is that very few manufacturers make cases for this phone. I have ordered a wallet style case from Amazon; unfortunately it's being shipped to me from China and isn't scheduled to arrive until mid October 2018. Otter Box makes some very nice cases; unfortunately those cases are made only for iPhones and high end flagship Samsung smartphones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been w/ T-Mobile a very long time as well, 14 plus years (even before they were T-Mobile). My old phone, from T-Mobile, died after only 1.5 years and I just kept my sim card and placed it in this phone and works fine. Good Luck! Some T-mobile employees just want to make a sale, so not always the most helpful to fix a phone or answer questions about "non T-mobile" products.
