Hi Nicky. That will depend on how well insulated your garage is and prevailing temperatures and weather conditions. Most refrigerators stop working at some point during the winter months in an unheated garage, depending on climate and how well the garage is insulated. Most manufacturers do not recommend placing a refrigerator in temperatures below 50˚Fahrenheit. Excessive heat will force a garage refrigerator or freezer to work extra hard to keep cool, even models with the best refrigerator insulation. And wearing itself out and sending your electric bill into the stratosphere. Also, freezing temperatures will effectively confuse your freezer, making it think that it's already reached the proper level of refrigeration. As long as the exterior temperature stays below freezing, your freezer will sit idle, letting its contents thaw out. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 14.3 cu. ft. Kimchi/Specialty Food French Door Refrigerator, Model # LMNS14420V should be installed in an area where the temperature is between 55 °F (13 °C) and 110 °F (43 °C)...^IFV
