The LG 360W 4.1ch Music Flow Wi-Fi Streaming Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model # SH7B has an Auto Power On/Off function that automatically turns the Soundbar off if there is no audio signal for a certain period of time when you are connected to a TV via the Optical Digital Audio port. Check page 57 of your owner's manual for this Soundbar for more details on the Auto Power On/Off function...^IFV

• A:Answer I should work because you can use hdmi with arc, RCA cables, 3.5 jack or fiber optic. Your old tv should st least one of these outputs. If it doesn't. by some chance, it won't work. I suggest upgrading that old beast and you'll be all set. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionMy phone pairs with this soundbar but it will not connect to it. My girlfriends phone pairs and connects fine though, I don't understand. My phone connects to every Bluetooth device but this soundbar. Any suggestions? I've already updated the firmware.

Q: QuestionHow can u connect sh7b soundbar to samsung uhd 4k tv? Because my sound bar only connected to the tv but my woofer still blinking green for more than a minute now?

• A:Answer Subwoofer automatically connects with soundbar when turn power on for both. When initially set, your TV would ask your permission to connect to this unit. You can say yes but then go to source and change it from Receiver to TV. And then sound auto simulates. Don’t use soundbar remote to turn it on or off otherwise you will have to go through this same settings every time. Let soundbar auto turn on or off when you turn tv on or off. The soundbar takes little time but TV sound will shift to sound bar after about 1-2 full minutes. Most importantly use the HDMI cable to connect this soundbar to your Samsung TV. DONT USE THE OPTICAL CABLE THAT COMES FREE WITH THIS SOUNDBAR. Hope, this helps!! Good Luck!

• A:Answer optical cables are very sensitive, i would try other means of using the sound bar (i.e. different inputs) just to see if its the sound bar itself or just a bad cable.

Q: QuestionJust bought this & hooked it up to my 65"LG Ultra 4k tv. via HDMI (ARC) however when I'm watching tv and change the channel I can only hear background noise and every vocal is muted, I have to power off the tv and turn it back on and then it will work.

• A:Answer Yes...As far as I know all of the products ion the "music flow" line are comparable with each other. FYI I have two - one for my LG OLED B7 and one for. my Sony BXR930e, It works just as well, if not better, with my Sony. It seems to be a very intuitive system and communicates with any device that will listen. Great for use with Google Smart Home system. Haven't tried it with Alexa yet.
