The main part of your microwave oven that makes it possible to heat food is bad. unless your oven is under warranty it is cheaper to buy a new microwave then to fix your old one.

Typically when a microwave oven doesn't heat, you may have a problem with the magnetron. This component is part of the high voltage circuit and provides the microwaves that generate the heat. If the magnetron is defective, the unit may blow a fuse, or have a problem with the high voltage diode, which helps to power the magnetron. and you may still have all other functions operating normally. The unit will require repair. Depending on how you purchased the microwave oven from Best Buy, if you used a credit card to purchase it, they may be able to look it up for you and tell you when it was purchased and print out a receipt for you...^IFV
