yes this is water proof I did drop phone in the toilet and it steal worked
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I accidentally dropped my stylo4 in the toilet about 15 minutes ago. So this made me think....is my phone waterproof? I had all the stylo's so far and I will say that 2 is the only phone I didn't care for. I had many problems with that model. Back to this situation! I have lost my stylo/pen. So I don't think that will help my water problem. I have wiped it dry with paper towels. No rice, no taking my phone apart, nothing special or extra, to get excess water out of the phone. I'm actually using it right now. So I'll give an update within 48 hrs to let everyone know how the stylo4 is coming along. Something to add: My phone gets wet on a regular basis by rain and snow. I've dropped it in snow a few times and in 1 rain puddle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is to an IP67. 3.5 meters under water for 30mins.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually only the Stylo 4+ Plus is rated for water resistance. It is rated ip68. As far as I'm aware the Plus model is currently only available through Boost Mobile and At&t. There is no ip water resistance rating for the regular Stylo 4. However the persons claim to drop this phone in the toilet and it still working is a plausible situation. Ive dropped my Samsung Note Edge N915t in the toilet twice believe it or not and it works perfectly still. Written with my Q710ulm Stylo 4.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It seems to have some water proof ability to it, according to my research the boost Mobile version of it has an ip 68 rating as seen here: https://www.phonearena.com/phones/LG-Stylo-4_id10876/fullspecs . I would think that the phones from other providers would hold something similar to that since they are the same phone in theory, so I would say it could be water resistant to a spill, and possibly a shower, but maybe don't swim with it in your pocket.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dropped my Stylo 4 in a full bathtub. It sank to the bottom, but I quickly snatched it out. That was 4 days ago, and my phone works absolutely fine with no interface, headphone jack, speaker, or headset issues. Although, I don't know if its marketed as a waterproof phone, it is for me so...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was pulling out of the boat ramp and realized i didnt have my phone. Found it under 6" of water on the ramp lighting up as my buddy called it. My stylo pen is missing. I have a case but it doesnt make the bottom waterproof. No rice. Didnt even turn it off. I wouldn't take it swimming but it can withstead being submerged in shallow water for a short period.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same here I dropped it in a bathtub, snatched it out quickly . It was in two feet of water . Good old bath towel and it worked fine . Watched it turn on and fire up no problem . What an awesome phone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say yes. My LG Stylo 4 slid off the back of the toilet, into the toilet. It was submerged for approximately 10 minuted before I realized it and pulled it out. I had a cheap phone case, not water proof, and a fairly cheap screen protector on the phone. I took both the phone case and protector off and dried it off with a towel. Did not take phone apart, did not use rice, and did not even power off. So far, phone is working fine. Fingers crossed it keeps working after a couple of days.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not water proof. Is some what water resistant. Not an in the shower phone. Wish it was though
