Questionthis LG was delivered last Saturday but the delivery guy said that it will not fit. my washer dryer is on the 2nd floor i dont think its an issue to have a front load machine at that level. i think it can fit. what else do you recommend?

- Answer I had the same experience. My delivery guy said the same thing so I refused delivery at that time. I had already researched the width, depth, and height and it would fit, but I hadn't factored in the hoses at the back of the machine. So I went to the store and looked at the backs of the machines and asked about the additional space needed at the rear of the machines. With the washer, I think there's about 1 to 2 inches that you need to add to the depth and the dryer should add to the depth about 3 to 4 inches. Then I had the machines redelivered since I knew the machines would just be a tighter fit in the space.

QuestionWe just received an LG DLEX3570V . When dryer was put on pedestal, the base is flush on the floor but the dryer rocks from corner to corner. It does not have an effect on the drying but the rocking back and forth is unsettling. Should this be reinstalled?

- Answer There are adjustment pegs on the bottom that can be extended to prevent this. It is the funny shaped tool they provided you.

- Answer HI Mich. We are not clear on your inquiry on if the dryer vent for the LG - TrueSteam 7.4 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Electric Dryer with Steam - Graphite Steel, Model # DLEX3570V can be "attached from the rear to a side hookup". The dryer is shipped to vent to the rear, but is can be configured to vent to the bottom or to the sides. You will need to purchase an Adapter Kit, part # 383EEL9001B that contains all the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location. The dryer has tabs on the sides and in the bottom that you can knockout and remove for your desired vent opening and press the adapter duct onto the blower housing and secure to the base of the dryer...^IFV

QuestionMy LG DLEX3570W fails to dry large loads. Sometimes the "Flow Sense" idiot lights illuminates, sometimes "Check Filter is illuminated. The lint filter in the front of the dryer is never clogged. What do these indicators mean?

- Answer I've noticed that our unit had similar messages after we initially had it installed. I checked the outside vent and cleaned it out and now it seems to have stopped the messages.

QuestionDue to space limitations, the washer and dryer will have to be stacked. In the event either requires warranty service, will unstacking be covered (if required) by the warranty coverage? If not, will the "authorized/approved" technicians do this for a fee?

- Answer I wouldn't recommend this model be stacked. I don't see on mine a way to properly secure them together. Not only that, the washer is very heavy.

QuestionRegarding shoesF.Y.I, I have the matching washer as well! I would like to have my sneakers cleaned, the installer told me that the rack I was given for the dryer could be used to steam clean shoes. Could you tell me how to complete the task?

- Answer Slide the rack into the dryer to where it runs back to front. Should 'clip' in to where the tub spins around it. Be sure to fill the water/steam reservoir with tap water (do NOT use distilled water as it can mess up the system), then select the "Steam Sanitary" mode. Both of the steam modes work beautifully (on my unit anyway) and I plan to use the rack to clean baseball caps, shoes, and any delicate items that I don't want to be tumbled.

- Answer The LG TrueSteam 7.4 cubic foot 12 Cycle Ultra-Large Capacity Steam Electric Dryer, Model # DLEX3570W is shipped to vent to the rear. It can also be configured to vent to the bottom or side (right-side venting is not available on gas models). An adapter kit, part number 383EEL9001B may be purchased from your LG retailer. This kit contains the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location. The following clearances are recommended for this dryer. This dryer has been tested for clearances of 1 inch (2.5 cm) on the sides and rear. Recommended clearances should be considered for the following reasons: Additional clearances should be considered for ease of installation and servicing. Additional clearances should be considered on all sides of the dryer to reduce noise transfer. For closet installation, with a door, minimum ventilation openings in the top and bottom of the door are required. ^CP

Ft. 12-Cycle Ultra-large Capacity Steam Electric Dryer - Model # DLEX3570W does not have an Energy Star certification so it would not be eligible for local company rebates. As for why it is not Energy Star Certified could be just that it missed the testing period, but that would be pure speculation.
