What does download cycle option mean? null

Its a custom cycle you can program if you have a NFC equipped phone

The download cycle option allows for an android or similar phone with NFC features (but not an Apple iPhone) to download other cycle options. I have not used this, and apparently you can download as many as LG comes out with, but I believe you can only upload one to the machine. if you upload another program, it overwrites that routine and you'll have to upload it again. This feature also apparently allows you to also download software patches yourself. I believe this is available only on the 3370 and 3570 models, but i'm not 100% certain that it's not available on the 3170 model.

a cycle that you can create yourself and download from your computer to make the washing machine do exactly what it is that you would like it to do....ie.... delicate cycle with special care/more or less spin or water or color enhancing
