QuestionCan this washer (or other LG washer) be drained into a floor drain? I'v seen some Whirlpool washers that offer an accessory to allows this. Thanks.

- Answer The owner's manual for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity TurboWash™ Washer, Model # WM3770HWA states that the end of the drain hose should not be less than 29" or more than 96 inches from the bottom of the washer so that would rule out draining it into a floor drain. There aren't any accessories available to accommodate draining it into a floor drain...^IFV

Ultra-Large Capacity with Steam Technology, Model # WM3370HVA does not have enough clearance for you to fit a drip pan under it so the type of drip pan you will need is one that the washer can sit in. The washer's W x H x D dimensions are 27" x 13 3/5" x 28 2/5" so the minimum size drip pan will have to be one that will accommodate the 27" width and 28 2/5" depth of the washer...^IFV

QuestionDo the jet nozzle sprays on the left and right side only activate/work during Turbowash? If I use the normal cycle and turn off Turbowash, I don't see any jet sprays from the sides.

QuestionWith the TurboWash option what am I compromising? I am trying to understand why one would not use TurboWash always if I am not compromising on something? Who does not want a quick wash? If I am thinking right, what am I compromising with TurboWash?

- Answer TurboWash is designed to save you about 20 minutes on larger loads (Based on AHAM-HLW-1-2010 test protocol. Cotton/Normal or comparable cycle at default settings, 8-lb loads, front load washers only) with the same outstanding performance you would get from a wash cycle without turbowash. Typically, the longer a cycle washes, the better the wash performance. Turbowash allows you to wash the laundry quicker without compromising wash performance. It's like pressing the fast forward button on your laundry. ^CP

QuestionWhen I start the washer, I hear a loud boom sound. It doesn't do it through the washing, but is seem to happens when it starts a the next cycle.

QuestionWe know where to put chlorine bleach but where do you put Clorox2 liquid bleach which they say not to put in same dispenser as chlorine bleach. Where does it go? (I’m referring to the LG 3770 model)

Ultra Large Capacity TurboWash™ Washer, Model # WM3770HWA has a four-compartment dispenser drawer that makes it easy to separate the pre-wash detergent, the main laundry detergent, liquid bleach, and fabric softener into different compartments. We would recommend reaching out to the bleach product manufacturer if they do not recommend putting it in the same dispenser as chlorine bleach. ^CP
