• Go with the other answers, but know that this stand on a 77 or 83 G4 will tilt the TV backwards 15 degrees. It even says it may on LG's website.

• It's about 2 and 1/8 inch low. from the base to screen and 1 inch from the stand to screen

• The answer from LG makes no sense. How can the bottom of the TV be 12" from the support furniture surface, if the stand itself is only about 12" tall?
