- Answer This monitor maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 144Hz over HDMI(Freesync Premuim Off). The monitor will not support HDMI 2.1 or 4K@120Hz. ^Daphane

QuestionSo For this Monitor, would a RTX 2060 SUPER, and a I7-9700F processor be sufficient to run 144hz at 1440p?

- Answer Yes and No. For games like AC Valhalla, or even CyberPunk, you will need to lower the settings a fair bit to get a fair amount of FPS above 60. Other than that you will have no problem pushing 1440p at 144hz with a 2060 Super.

- Answer This can happen with any displayport cable with a lock equipped. Failure to release the lock and people yanking the cable will break the dp.

QuestionIf the 2020 27GN850-B is same as the 2019 27GL850-B MINUS the USB ports that means the 27GN850-B is the same as LG 27GL83A sold on Amazon for 375$. A little disappointed about pricing.

QuestionI wanted to buy this for a Xbox Series X. I noticed that HDMI 2.0 only offers HDMI VRR at 60hz but the Xbox is freesync and G sync compatible. Will VRR work at 1440p 120hz on the new Xbox through HDMI 2.0?

- Answer Hi J. You are confusing your monitor specs which is completely understandable. The monitor response time and refresh rate are two different things. The response time is how fast it updates the pixels switch from color to color, which range from 5 ms to 1 ms. Most LEDs pc monitors cannot achieve 1 ms response times without noticeable affects. A monitor's refresh rate is how fast it updates the image being fed from the PS5 or GPU in a PC. Given that most consoles prior to PS5 output only 60mhz refresh rates because all TVs had 60mhz refresh rates. The latest generation of consoles like the PS5 can support a higher refresh rate of 120mhz. The PS5 also just started supporting 120mhz, which may explain why some games don't even support it yet. - Answer This monitor will accept a 4k signal from a PS5 and the monitor will downsample to 1440p which looks very nice. Are there better 4K native options, yes but at this price point this is a good option. If Sony embraces 1440p support in the future this will become an even better option. There is possibilities that devs allow a 4k/60 mode or 1440p/120 option, we don’t know for sure but given those options I’d take 1440p/120 all day. A lot of unknowns though.

- Answer This is a 1440p monitor which is essentially 2K. It has exactly 4 times the number of pixels as a 720p screen, while a 4K screen has exactly 4 times the number of pixels as a 1080p screen. The 4K monitor I'd recommend for the PS5 is definitely the LG 27GN950, or perhaps the LG 27UL850, unless you want to go bigger than 27".

- Answer Unfortunately this is not a 4K monitor. It will downscale from 4K to 1440p, but if you want a true 4K experience for the PS5, try the LG 27GN950 instead.

QuestionI am getting the PS5 in a couple weeks and since the new consoles will have HDMI 2.1. Does this monitor have HDMI 2.1? I’ve been having trouble finding an amazing monitor for the next gen consoles that is going to work perfect for them.

- Answer No, this monitor is not equipped with HDMI 2.1. The LG CX series (48") has HDMI 2.1 and that was actually my 1st option for the PS5 but for $1450, I ended up buying 3 of these instead.
