ps5 now supports native 1440p at 120 fps, since the update. I've tested it and it definitely works, 10-21-2022
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.PlayStation 5 doesn't support 1440p (native). You only have 1080p and/or upscaled but not native 1440p. Only the Xbox Series X/S supports native. And you'll be able to use any HDMI 2.0 cable, however for PC I recommend using DisplayPort cable, which is included instead.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend a Display port 1.4 (DP 1.4) cable for your PC and an HDMI 2.0 for PS5. I could be wrong, but I think HDMI cables can only push 120hz, which should be okay in your case since the PS5 only goes up to a max of 120hz. But for sure get that DP 1.4 for your PC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Please note that all High-Speed HDMI cables will carry a 4K video signal. You can get an Ultra HDMI cable or at least a 2.0 HDMI cable. ^Daphane
