Monitor 32GP83B-B has a recommended resolution of 2560 x 1440 @ 144Hz (HDMI) or 2560 x 1440 @ 165Hz (DisplayPort). At a resolution of 2560 x 1440 it should offer 120HZ. This monitor does not have HDMI 2.1 and will not support 4K@120Hz. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know, I am answering this 2 years after this Q&A when I bought this unit new, though my model number is: 32GP83B-BY.AUSOMKM. Hooked up my gaming PC and it immediately came on and I could use it at 2560x1440 without any issues. After using it for a bit I was playing around with the display settings to use dual screens (laptop 2560x1600 and the 32GP83B-B) and I noticed that the PC was showing this monitor could go up to 4k though 1440 was "Recommended" and it worked, but only at 60Hz. This seems unusual that a screen that can do 4k would not actually be advertised at that resolution plus the 1440. I realize this one I just bought new now in 2024 may be a slightly newer model than this Q&A thread started with, but I am curious if anyone else has experienced this resolution oddity?! I have since moved it back to QHD-1440 and 143.93Hz (to be precise) because 60Hz just doesn't do it for ne, except perhaps for movies. P.S. I do indeed like this monitor a lot. It is super bright and crisp and clear for COD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll get 120fps on games they just won't be 4k. Although the few that I've tested look great at a lower resolution at 120fps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to update the fps and video settings on your ps5 settings first . Then it’ll be able to run the full 120 fps . Also games usually have a option in game for fps modes also so keep an eye out for that .
