  • QuestionIs it possible to mount this to wall with moveable arms.

    • Answer The display comes with a fairly sizeable desk stand but that slots into a standard 100mm x 100mm VESA mount on the back of the display itself that you should be able to attach to any standard VESA mounting point. According to the official spec sheet (https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-34gn850-b-gaming-monitor) the display without the stand weighs 12.1 lbs so make sure your alternate mount and anchor are able to handle that.

  • QuestionWhy does this use images of the model 34GP83A (the rear logo change) instead of the actual 34GN850?

    • Answer This monitor offers a maximum resolution of DP:3440 x 1440 @ 160Hz (Overclock: On). The recommended resolution is DP:3440 x 1440 @ 144Hz or HDMI:3440 x 1440 @ 85Hz. This monitor does not have HDMI 2.1 and will not support 4K@120Hz. ^Daphane

    • Answer There is a joystick on the bottom bezel of the monitor that serves as a menu button. Move the joystick up/down and left/right to set the options. ^Daphane

  • QuestionHow thick or thin is the bezel on this monitor? Are the blacks deep black and the colors vivid? Also, is there a lot of backlight bleed?

  • QuestionWill Best Buy ever restock this monitor? I know I could purchase it from other retailers but I'd really like to get the Warranty that Best Buy offers.

    • Answer Not sure what your status is since it's been a month but here are thoughts/experience. Keep an eye out daily and early. They cannot seem to keep them in stock. I recently discovered this monitor (a couple of days before Halloween, Oct. 2020), and by Nov 1st they were gone. I stopped by the store and made inquiries about availability. I checked daily and two days later around 5:30 in the morning, I checked and they were available again! Right away I ordered one and opted for in-store pick-up. Two suggestions: 1. Don't delay, order the minute it's available. 2. Purchase the Best Buy Warranty. Good luck!

  • QuestionJust brought an LG Ultra-Gear and noticed a coating film in the monitor, I removed a little I can't see anything, now I have this little bubble on the corner, can I change the entire film?

    • Answer It sounds like you peeled part of the matte anti-reflective coating on the LG 34'' UltraGear™ 21:9 Curved WQHD Nano IPS 1ms 144Hz HDR Gaming Monitor with G-SYNC® Compatibility, Model # 34GN850-B. The entire coating will have to be replaced and that will be best done by an LG Authorized Service Center...^IFV
