Yes, and you can manually set the resolution to match the monitor. Keep in mind that your refresh will not be 240Hz since the PS5 can't output that high.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for reaching us regarding LG Monitor. The LG 39GS95QE-B is compatible with the PS5, but here are a few important things to note: Resolution and Aspect Ratio: • The monitor has a 3440x1440 ultrawide resolution (21:9 aspect ratio). • The PS5 does not support ultrawide resolutions natively. Display Output: • The monitor can accept 4K signals from the PS5 and scales them down. • It supports all PS5 features, including HDR. Image Display: • You will see black bars on the sides of the screen when playing on the PS5 due to the aspect ratio difference. • There’s an option to stretch the image to fill the screen, but this may distort the picture. Gaming Performance: • It offers great gaming performance with a 240Hz refresh rate, fast response time, and low input lag. • Supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) for smoother gameplay. HDR Support: • It has DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification for better HDR performance. Potential Issues: • Some users experience VRR flicker during dark scenes with changing frame rates. • There may be uneven burn-in due to the black bars on the sides when used with consoles.
