Thank you for your interest in the LG Monitor. To get sound on your LG 45GR95QE-B monitor, follow these simple steps: 1. Check Connections: • Make sure your HDMI or audio cable is securely plugged into both the monitor and your computer. • Look for any visible damage to the cables. 2. Monitor Settings: • Open the on-screen menu on your LG monitor. • Go to the sound settings and check that the speakers are selected as the output source. • Make sure the volume isn't muted or set too low. 3. Computer Settings: • On Windows, right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "Open sound settings." • In the Output or Playback tab, confirm that the LG 45GR95QE-B monitor is set as the default playback device. Adjust the volume if needed. 4. Update Audio Drivers: • Press Windows key + X and select "Device Manager." • Expand "Sound, video and game controllers." • Right-click your audio device and select "Update driver." Choose to search automatically for updates. 5. Use Headphone Port: • If the monitor doesn't have built-in speakers, you can connect external speakers or headphones to the headphone out port (3.5mm AUX) on the monitor. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This monitor doesn't have built in speakers. There's a headphone jack on the bottom, next to the menu button, and also an optical audio jack on the back. So you can connect speakers up to the monitor. It acts like an external audio device, so it's a bit different than just using the on board audio built into your PC. There's some nifty audio features on the monitor, like DTS, and you can also control the volume with the remote that comes with the monitor. I use this monitor with my laptop and I have speakers connected to it. That way I don't have to connect the speakers separately to my laptop. It's just 1 less wire that needs to be connected to the laptop to get a desktop gaming experience when I'm at home. I also have my keyboard and mouse connected to the monitor's USB ports, so it acts sort of like a hub. It's just more convenient for me to do it this way. But if you already have pretty good on board audio on your PC, it might be better to skip the monitor and just run your sound straight from the PC to your speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I know it doesn't have speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The speakers are built in. Both HDMI and DisplayPort will do audio transfer. So as long as you have the HDMI or DisplayPort connected to your PC, it should see the speakers on the monitor. If you have Windows 11. Go to the bottom in your system tray. Left click where you see a picture of a speaker. Where the volume bar is, you should see an arrow like this > at the very end. Left click on that, and you can change your audio OUTPUT to the LG speakers. Bottom line. Just change the audio output of whatever PC your on, and point it to the LG speakers on the monitor.
