“headphones I have a life proof case for my I pad but I can not figure out how to use headphones for it. Is it possible or does that compromise the case?”

My Lifeproof Fre case has a rubber headphone jack cover that plugs into a hole in the case corresponding to the headphone jack on the iPad. Removal of this plug affords access to the headphone jack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lifeproof provides a special threaded earphone cord when you buy the case. It has an O-ring on it as well to keep the case water tight even when using earphone. Truthfully, it keeps the promise of keeping the case sealed but it is a pain to use and easy to loose. So I began to use Bluetooth and never worry about the adapter cord anymore. It worked for my personally. But Lifeproof cases are specific in their design. Most non OEM apple charge cord will not fit through the case to charge as well. It is to keep the case as sealed as possible I believe. Minor issues for me personally but may be a deal breaker for others.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The case itself should have come with a head phones adapter. So u plug your headphones into the adapter. You screw the adapter into the life proof case and it remains sealed from water damage.
