- Answer The Fre has a built in screen protector and the back of the case is a softer plastic, it feels a little cheap in my opinion. The Nuud does not have a built in screen protector, but it has a rubber ring around the inside of the case that goes around the screen to keep it waterproof, also the back of the case is clear, hard plastic, it has a sturdier feel than the Fre and allows you to see the phone.

QuestionCan I return my lifeproof case without a receipt and get a new one??????If I want to return my lifeproof case because it broke and get a new one but do not have the receipt anymore can I still get a new one? I have the box still with everything that came in it.

- Answer If it is broken, all you have to do is go on LifeProof's website & submit a claim. It usually takes no more than 48 hrs before they ship you a brand new one, in a box just like you purchased from the store.

QuestionThe ringer off switch won't work when phone in case.The cover to charging port keeps coming off and the ringer switch won't work with case on. This is a brand new case costing $70.+ Should I just return this case?

- Answer I thought mine didn't work, but it does. Try again, you kinda have to push in and down or in and up at the same time to move the ring silencer button.

- Answer Yes, but the max depth is 6.6ft, so you can't go to deep, and you can't use the touchscreen, so turn on the app before you go in and use the volume buttons to take pics

- Answer Lifeproof FRE "power" cases are more expensive than regular Lifeproof FRE cases because they offer the ability to recharge your phone without a power cord. The extra battery is in the case. If you're looking for just a waterproof case without the extra battery, you can save money.

- Answer most likely because the white gets stained with other colors and also this case is the first revision. I am sure they have updated the case.

QuestionLifeproof Case is the pits. What chargers besides the apple charger fit it?We have to remove the case in order to charge it with any other cord besides the apple charger. Purchased phones with case at Best Buy. NEVER buying another lifeproof case or purchase from Best Buy. Why do you not inform the consumer - we bought 3 phones and cases - Thanks!#@##@!!!!!

- Answer Any with a small enough end. It is not Best Buy's job to ensure that you have the right stuff. That is your job. If you do not ask, do not assume they know you have no idea what you're buying.

- Answer No. The case comes with explicit directs to test its water tight seal prior to putting it on your phone. That would be negligent on your part to have not followed them.

- Answer You may be able to, but I suggest going to the life proof site and printing out the warranty guarantee sheet, fill it out, snap a picture and submit it. This is the easiest way to get a replacement. As long as you are honest, the company will send a replacement. They have amazing customer service.

- Answer I have only seen the purple case with a purple screen. The Lifeproof Nuud product, comes with different options however, you may want to investigate that product, I just got mine and LOVE it!
