QuestionIn the title it is called an extension kit. Do you have to have a base or regular kit to allow these to work? In other words, do these come with a cord that will plug into a standard outlet?

- Answer They don't come with a cord. They are an add on to extend the length of the light strip. You can go 10 meters long... 10 extensions in all

QuestionIs this compatible with Google Home/Assitant? If so, are they recognized as the same device? Such as if I where to have multiple and I ask to change the color to purple all of them with chance to purple. Thank you!

- Answer Yes it is compatible. Google now let’s you group lights together. So if you name a group to LIFX lights and change color to purple they all should

QuestionCan you use this to replace a broken strip from the starter kit?

- Answer If the broken strip is the one connecting to the first strip in the starter kit I would think so. I would suggest not removing any of the backing on the extension and check it. If it all works, then secure it in place. I would think if that doesn’t work, you will need a new starter kit.
