QuestionCan this start a Dead battery?

- Answer YES - worked like a charm on a battery that had been totally dead for a couple months. Super quick and easy to use, much better than jumping from another vehicle. as of course the battery is accessible with this small unit, no matter where it happens to be parked. My husband wants one for his birthday after seeing someone else's in action. Me too! The flashlight is a bonus in case you have to jump a battery at night.

Questioni got a jumpsmart through QVC and the flash light does not work, I tried powering it down and recharging still nothing. (recommendations) before I send it back

- Answer The vehicle key should not be in the on position until after the JumpSmart has been connected. When jump starting a vehicle, you will turn the JumpSmart on, connect the Jumper Cables to both the JumpSmart and the vehicles battery terminals, THEN start the vehicle. QuestionI'm considering buying one. Before I do, I'd like to know: When disconnecting, does it matter if you disconnect the clamps first, or disconnect the clamps from the device?

- Answer We advise that you remove the clamps in the reverse order that they were connected to the vehicle. With that said, there are built-in safety features that ensure the safety of the user no matter what order the clamps are connected or disconnected from the battery.
