“Is this ethernet switch compatible with Xfinity/Com-Cast. My router has only two ethernet port. I would like to know if it is able to support WiFi extender, as my son's room must run via WiFi . He has Netgear and TP-Link ,he is a big gamer. Will it work !”

• Yes this will work with Xfinity/Comcast. You might have to change the settings on the modem/router so that the switch is setup to the same LAN IP address.

• Hi inlightu2. The Linksys SE3005 is an unmanaged switch and can support devices that needs Ethernet connectivity. If your Wi-Fi extender can be connected via Ethernet, then the SE3005 should work fine with your setup.
