• You would still need to have internet service from local carrier like Spectrum, AT&T, etc. This handy little USB allows the user to obtain WiFi on a device that would normally need to be plugged directly into the router. I have my pc set up in a room nowhere near my router so with this USB I’m online no problem. It’s perfect!

• If you do not have internet service you will have to pay a monthly fee to have the service. The USB won't work without it.

• The usb is not the internet, so yes you do have to have internet. The USB is just for your computer to connect to your router to excess the internet. It is just a wireless connection device.
