• The EA9200 has a slightly lower max Ghz rating. You will see the same performance until you exceed the number of devices the EA9200 can handle.

• Possibly. Depending on how you use internet and how many WiFi devices and at what band they are on. Basically this is Linksyss mothership. It doesn’t seem to be future proof but what router is. The downward model is (to me) no where near worth my efforts to upgrade to. But that’s me.
