I too have Spectrum. I constantly got buffering on my smart TVs or a loss of picture quality, even with the TV sitting 18 inches from the router. This modem has eliminated EVERY buffer/lag issue I usually had with Spectrum. I would highly encourage you to pick this up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bob, I don't think so if you are using Direct TV Now or PS Vue. I also have Spectrum 100 GB internet and a Samsung 4k TV. I had my own cable modem (2 yrs old) so I went to Spectrum to get their latest cable modem and added this wireless router. The first 15 minutes of Direct TV Now was fine but then the buffering happened. I tried Direct TV Now with a Roku device and had the same problems. Then I got an account with PS Vue but had the same buffering problems with both Fire TV and Roku. No problem with Netflix or using Kodi though. I think the problem I am having is with Direct TV Now. Not using any cameras. Good luck. We are living with Direct TV Now and buffering issues. Sometimes it is good for hours, then other times every 30 seconds for a few hours. Even when using the cloud DVR!

After three tech visits and line and remote diagnostics tests, tech ran a new external line under front patio overhang to prevent line degradation from hot Phoenix sun. And tech moved modem placement to do so. Router performs great now. Diagnosing and fixing the root cause matters.
