If your current router is a gateway device (modem-router), and you wish to use the Linksys MR7350 as a main router while setting your gateway’s router functionality in bridge mode, then you may as the Linksys MR7350 should work fine with most of the Internet Service Providers. - Answer There is no mention of this in the user guide, and most documents from Linksys suggest letting the Router manage the bands to maximize thruput to each device. I would also worry that if you use a mesh, than splitting it could interfere with the mesh switching (when a device moves from the range of one mesh router to the next. QuestionISPs in my area do not provide wifi 6 (802.11ax) yet....they are currently still offering wifi 5 (802.11ac). That being said, will this router have backwards compatibility to wifi 5 and support my current devices that are wifi 5 compatible?

QuestionI have the router and need some instructions for installing it . I plugged the cable from my Comcast modem (internet) into the back of the router marked internet and the cable from my computer (USB 3.0, Gegabit ethernet apapter) into another connection!

- Answer It says 1700 sq ft ... but it all depends on where u place it, what kinda walls you have, how many devices your hooking up to it , so many things play a roll but I have about 18 things connected to it and it works great. I only have a 2 bedroom and all on one floor but it works great for me

- Answer Hi, tomglenn. The Linksys MR7350 can provide a WiFi covers up to 1,700 sq. ft. but, you can connect another mesh router or the Velop node to the router to extend the coverage.
