A Mesh WiFi or Whole Home WiFi systems consists of a main router that connects directly to your modem, and a series of satellite modules, or nodes, placed around your house for full WiFi coverage. They are all part of a single wireless network and share the same SSID and password, unlike traditional WiFi routers. The Linksys MR9600 is a Dual-Band Mesh WiFi 6 Router that can cover up 3,000 sq. ft, and for you to optimize its mesh system, then you may have to add nodes. - Answer Hi. The recommended method to manage and set up the MR9600 Mesh WiFi 6 Router is through the Linksys app, but you can still manage and set up the router locally through the web UI.

- Answer I had the 2-node Linksys Velop setup and I didn’t like how it always seemed to put me on 2.4 band and had consistently slower WiFi speeds. Replaced it with a Nighthawk 8000P and had great speeds all over the house but that router had connection problems after about 9 months of use. Now I’m on this Linksys and it has been working great since I bought it.

- Answer Hello, OG. Both models, Linksys MR9600 and Linksys MR9610, have the same hardware, as well as configurations and troubleshooting. However, the Linksys MR9610 can only be acquired in Sam’s Club, and will only available in the US.

QuestionCan you run the 2.4 and 5ghz bands independently and connect your devices to each band manually? A lot of our devices require the 2.4ghz band and our current Google Mesh Network doesn’t allow for this, leaving many of our devices offline on the wrong band

- Answer While the default setup does 'coupled' SSID, you may decouple them, its a matter of giving a _2G and _5G on the SSID pages. That will decouple them.

QuestionDoes this have the ability to disable iPv6 DCHP provisioning? Current modem/router (Nighthawk AC1900/ C7000v2) will not allow us to turn off it handing out iPv6 addresses via DHCP. Relay need to turn it off.
