• You will not need the extender, I have the 3 nodes and it covers more than enough space both upstairs and down.

• You will not need one if you buy multiple units. Yes you can setup the wifi extender, but it would make a mess of the simplicity of the mesh network setup Velop sets out to accomplish. Each Velop node should cover 2000/sq ft easily.

• Technically, yes.. but it would not be needed as the functions of the range extender would be handled by the Velop nodes. Your range extender may actually end up being a detriment to the system as it could take radio time away from other clients and/or the primary node as it is a less efficient range extending design that the Velop.

• You don't need a wifi extender after you buy Velop. It will cover up to 2000 square feet for each node. you can have 2 nodes in 4000 square feet house. Due to mesh wifi network, you will get full speed across the house.
