“Will this work for hooking up TV to Internet? I am trying to connect my Samsung HD TV up to the Internet via a router so that the TV can get firmware updates, as well as use the TV's widgets, etc. The router works fine for all my laptops and phones (all less than 1 year old). TV is probably 5 years old and uses 802.11. So I am hoping connecting TV should be fine. Any ideas on if this wireless adapter will work for TVs? Thanks”

Yes, if your TV is a smarttv which means it is able to connect to a wireless network. I have successfully hooked up my Samsung.
