Its dry to the touch in 3 to 5 minutes which is when they recommended you buff the extra solution of the screen with the provided cloth. The 24 hours is required for the solution to reach maximum hardness, if you feel uncomfortable wearing it during that time I suggest you dont. We waited about 12 hours until we felt it would be safe to wear. Its been almost a week since and everything looks fine. The risk is yours to take. Good luck!

Just be careful the first 24hrs because that is how long it takes for it to completely cure to its hardness. When applying it I waited to the end of the day when we had sat down to unwind before bed. That way it gave it a good 12 hrs to cure before heading out the next day.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure you have to but I did. I assumed it was like nail polish and the longer you waited the harder the protective surface would become with 24 hours allowing for the greatest strength at initial wear.
