- Answer Quicker than almost any one I know! on my phone, the "5*" button is in the bottom right side of the screen. When I reach in my pocket to grab the phone - guess what - i squeeze that button and call 5*! 3 times a day some times! embarrassing...

QuestionWhat will roaming charges be for a call from Europe (Ireland or Scotland) to the US using my Jitterbug Smart 2? Do I have to enable the phone for such calls? Thank you.

- Answer Hello, great question. Calls to Ireland or Scotland are charged $1.00/minute for each minute of the call. In addition, regular plan minutes are also deducted for the length of the call. If you are on an unlimited plan, the full toll charge of the call is $1.35. You can use a calling card but be sure that the International Calling Card uses a local domestic number or toll free 800 number to begin the call. You will be charged for airtime minutes according to your monthly rate plan. You also have the option of using a video calling/chat application, such as the WhatsApp. You can find all video calling/chat applications in the Google Play Store. When using these apps, we suggest you connect to wi-fi when possible and the person you are calling must also be using the application.

Lively cannot guarantee coverage outside of the United States. If the phone is able to connect to a network and can make/receive calls abroad, then international usage rates apply. - Answer According to what I read on a website, it stated the following: Jitterbug phones do not have SIM cards. Jitterbug phones are designed specifically for seniors, and they typically have larger buttons and are very user-friendly. Because they are designed with seniors in mind, they do not require a SIM card, as they are not intended to be used with any other service provider other than GreatCall. Additionally, they usually have their own operating systems rather than the standard versions used by other smartphones. As a result, there is no need to insert a SIM card, as the phone will not be able to operate on any other network than the one provided by GreatCall.
