Hello, I am sorry to hear about the double click issues you are experiencing. It does come with a 3 year warranty through Logitech so if it is that time span you may file a warranty claim. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless you are an expert with soldering on surface mount devices, replace it. The switches have a life cycle based on the number of clicks. Typically, the scroll wheel encoder or some other component would fail before the switches, but nothing is perfect. Consider yourself lucky to have used it for as long as you have.

It’s not going to be worth the frustration in the long run and you will barely notice the difference if you switch to the newer model. I went through a few of these bad boys over time and when they are done, they are done. I’ve had one last years and years, and another just a few months. Bottom line, it’s put it’s time in and in my opinion, it’s the best ergonomic mouse on the market, so treat yourself to a new shiny one!
