• The G Pro Hero has the Logitech Hero Sensor, which is much better than the sensor of the standard g pro. Definitely worth buying the hero for a little more.

• G Pro is wireless, G Pro hero is wired. The wireless model costs more. The Hero model is cheaper because its wired.

• The G Pro is discontinued and the Hero is the newer replacement version. The Hero uses the new Logitech software for setting up the mouse profiles. Otherwise, I have both and they look and feel exactly the same.

• The G Pro Hero has Logitech's new "Hero" sensor which is more accurate and goes to higher DPI.

• The sensor is different and it depends of how the company mass produced these mouses and currently trying to bring out the new. And there is a Wireless and A Wired. Which the wiredless is more expensive
