• That is to enable "Game Mode." When it is enabled, certain keys can become unusable, so you don't accidentally press a wrong key and do something you don't want to do. I don't believe there are any keys set when you first use it. To select these keys, you need to download the Logitech Hub (there are setup instructions to do so) and select which ones you want to be locked. I hope this helps!
