It's a good mouse but it's relatively load. Much noisier than many mouses.

I bought this for my sister since she has a laptop and wants to play games, yet cannot since she didn't have a mouse. This mouse is much lighter and smaller than my g502 proteus spectrum, and definitely much quieter. However, I would recommend trying it out yourself. I don't know what mouse you have that would be loud but it would be best to try it out at the store before purchasing since the definition "loud" differs by person.
