The extra pedal is there so that you CAN use it. However, if you never buy the shifter, you never will. Use the flappy paddles to shift gears or let the game do all the shifting for you. You never HAVE to use the third pedal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you don’t but it could help you to learn
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Only if you decide to purchase the optional H-shifter. You can always choose to drive with an automatic transmission in most if not all driving games. There are also sequential paddle shifters attatched to the wheel housing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most games give you the option of Automatic or Manual Transmission, so you should be fine if you don't know how to drive a stick shift.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you would only need to know how to drive stick if you are playing a simulation game; however; that can be fixed by doing so in the settings. As for racing games as long as you are not playing manual w/clutch you shouldn't have any problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I do
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The clutch pedal is only there for those who get the shifter kit. If you drive semi-auto (like most do anymore), you will never need to touch the clutch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No but if you do you can use the clutch
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Two things. First, the 6 speed shifter is sold separately. So steering wheel comes with paddle shifters. Thus, you never have to use the clutch if you do not wish to. Second, as long as you understand the basics of how a clutch works, i.e., push the clutch down, shift gear, release clutch, then you will be fine. This does not mimic the engagement of a real clutch assembly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You do not have to use the clutch pedal. It is there as an option and is fully functional should you decide to use it intermittently during a race. The paddle shifters work the same way. Typically the game will handle the shifting for you, unless hard-set it to manual.
