• I am not familiar with the Acer Nitro 5, but if it has a USB port you can connect this mouse to it. I would thing with the right adapter you could use it on another port, but I don't know enough to tell you which would or wouldn't work.

• Yes, The mouse requires a 2.0/3.0 usb port (Its compatible for either or) , And the Logitech software GHUB which manages the Mouse's Drivers and Firmware.
