Logitech has a 3 year no questions asked warranty. Call them, give them the tag id on the cord, and your info and they will replace it without you having to send your old one in. They did that for me even when I told them openly it was my fault.

If you purchase a GSP with the device, after the first year is up Best Buy will fulfill the warranty if there are any hardware issues with the mouse. Both warranties will not cover things like neglect from gamer rage from a failed boss raid.
