Hello, this mouse has the option for both. It has a button behind the scroll wheel that allows you to switch between the two. -Danielle from Logitech
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Both. There's a button just behind the wheel to toggle between ratchet mode and a very low-friction free spinning mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a button that allows you to do both. But I wouldn't recommend this mouse. It has terrible sensors and will most likely only last you a couple months.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The scrolling wheel can be set as either free spinning or incremental rotation. This is done via a button on the top of the mouse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.WHICH EVER ONE YOU WANT IT TO BE! The locking button underneath the wheel lets you easily switch between free spinning wheel and click-per-increment style. The change isn't electronic, but a sturdy mechanical one. You can change it in a heartbeat.
