A:Answer To be fair most mouses aren’t usable on any surface. Unless it has a track ball. Things like glass, some wood, steel and uneven surfaces are things that really cause issues with a mouse, even hard books will cause issues from time to time. My point is you always want to use a mouse pad and no you don’t need a really expensive mouse pad, any mouse pad will do. Lastly make sure your mouse area is flat.
