I haven’t heard anything negative about the build quality. Logitech uses pretty nice materials. If you’re using the wheel casually, I probably wouldn’t bother with the plan. If you’re joining a sim racing league where you’ll be using this daily, it might be worth it.

It's a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. I use these on racing simulator cockpits for both my 8 year old daughter and myself. Loads of fun and it works great. You won't be disappointed if you do purchase this set up.
