Yes, it can be used on a PS3. My daughter is using a set on her PS3 at this very moment.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Technically, the last generation of consoles didn't output sound directly to USB without special assistance from supported software, so the answer, technically is no....however, there are plenty of workarounds, especially if you have a computer nearby the console that you can route your sound through. It may sound complicated, but it's really not. You can run the sound out of an Xbox or PS3 into your sound card, then back out to this headset. You retain all of the capabilities except some of the 7.1 surround (unless you maintain 7.1 digital out of your console and into the PC). If you can run optical (toslink) out from the console into your PC's sound card, you will get 5.1 surround. So there are definitely ways around the technical answer of 'no'. Also, PS4 compatibility is a Yes, but with the exception of surround sound. You will get stereo channels only when using this headset with a PS4 in console mode. Best of luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe so, you might not get the best sound plugging it into a ps3 though as I think it was intended for PC gaming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only drivers for PC
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have tried to use this for the PS3 and have been unsuccessful. it is however advertised to work with the PS4 in stereo mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Logitech has a new X-540 out, its the same as a G930 except there's no surround sound and it WILL work with a PS3 or Xbox 360. PS3 cannot send audio through USB, it is a limitation put there by Sony.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It only has a standard USB plug. There is a mini USB plug listed but it's for the headset to receive a charge/input.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not as far as I know.
