To anyone not wanting to download extra software to work around this, simply go into your sound settings via your control panel click the recording tab, find the microphone and right-click it. Then select properties. next, select the levels tab and click that mute button and voila problem solved ezpz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This happens to me a lot. Usually its when I restart my computer I have to open the Logitech Gaming Software for my mic to start working again, but sometimes that isn't the problem, so I just go to settings and type "Find and Fix Problems with Speech" and troubleshoot my microphone.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately it isn't advertised anywhere that the G933 isn't a very well made headset and is extremely inconsistent. Sure it sounds good and the durability/battery life is decent, but that doesn't count for much if the headset doesn't work properly most of the time. I bought mine back in 2016 and have had non stop issues with it since I bought it. But the review sites will tell you it's a top of the line headset! The tag price definitely shouldn't be so high. If I had known about all the issues it has I would have spent no more than $60 on it. Not to mention the software is complete garbage, But that's just a given with any company not knowing how to make a good software. My advice is to just keep messing around with it until you can find a method to make it work acceptably.
