The 800's, in our everyday usage, have better clarity and are more comfortable. We've had several of these fail, no longer work at all or developed por call quality, after only 45 days whereas the 800's have not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This headset is the only one I know of that can connect with a 2.4 ghz usb signal and Bluetooth devices. Some gaming systems like Nintendo switch, tablets and phones only connect wirelessly with Bluetooth. The 2.4 usb nano offers a better signal and is The technology most gaming headphones use with windows Computers, Xbox and PlayStation wirelessly. It works better with Skype on windows computers than Bluetooth. This headset has a switch on it to change from one tech to the other - so you can switch from gaming consoles that don’t use Bluetooth to an iPhone call that does. Some business class headsets Like Jabra have a hub that plugs into the computer and has a usb radio in the hub that will connect both devices in. Those headphones tend to connect to the hub with a third tech called dect which is what home wireless phones use. Dect is the most secure of the 3 I believe. It is the one with the best range and clarity. Those will cost double or more of this headset. This headset has a good mic for reducing background noise. It doesn’t get hot and is fairly light. However it is plastic and feels really cheap - but I know if no replacement in the price range besides dedicated iPhone headset and dedicated gaming headset. I look for one yearly.
